Singapore Airlines Resumes Saudi Arabia Flights

Singapore Airlines is returning to Saudi Arabia after a long absence, launching direct flights on the Riyadh–Singapore route. Operated with widebody Airbus A350 aircraft, this new service marks the airline’s comeback to the country—and a key detail stands out: Singapore Airlines is receiving incentives for these flights under Saudi Arabia’s Air Connectivity Program (ACP).

The ACP is a state-backed support mechanism launched in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals to increase direct international air links to the Kingdom. The program provides operational support and financial incentives to airlines opening new routes, reducing market entry risk and encouraging the development of sustainable connectivity.

With this move, Singapore Airlines becomes the third major carrier to start services to Saudi Arabia after Scoot and Saudi Arabian Airlines.
