
- On Lufthansa flight LH722 operating from Munich to Beijing, an Airbus A350-900 registered D-AIXO, a passenger became unwell while the aircraft was over the Central Asia region. The cabin crew, along with a doctor on board, provided initial medical assistance.
- As the passenger’s condition deteriorated, the pilots decided to make an emergency landing in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Despite all medical efforts, the passenger could not be saved and passed away.
- The deceased passenger and accompanying relatives were disembarked in Almaty by medical teams, after which the flight continued to its destination with a delay.
