A320 Suffers Bird Strike During Takeoff

An Airbus A320-200 aircraft belonging to Libya-based airline Berniq Airlines was involved in a bird strike during takeoff for a flight from Mitiga International Airport (MJI) to Cairo International Airport (CAI).

According to the information obtained, the aircraft struck a very large flock of birds while on the runway. Following the incident, the aircraft safely returned to Mitiga International Airport.

It was reported that all 155 passengers on board were safe, and no injuries occurred during the incident.
