Spirit Airlines Introduces Holiday-Season Special Aircraft Livery

Spirit Airlines has announced its operational planning for the 2025–2026 year-end holiday period, along with a limited-time special aircraft livery.

The airline plans to operate more than 8,900 flights during the peak travel period between December 19, 2025, and January 5, 2026. During this timeframe, Spirit Airlines’ primary objective is to maintain capacity continuity in response to increased passenger demand and to meet travelers’ needs throughout the holiday season. The company also aims to expand product diversity by offering a greater number of premium seats across its fleet.

Rana Ghosh, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Spirit Airlines, emphasized the importance of air transportation in bringing families and close communities together during the holiday period, noting that the airline will continue to connect passengers with their preferred destinations throughout 2026.

According to the data shared, the busiest travel days of the holiday period are expected to be December 19, December 22, December 26, January 2, and January 5. Over this period, Spirit Airlines flights are projected to cover more than 8.9 million miles in total. It was also stated that hot beverage service will be offered on board as part of in-flight catering planning.

In addition to its operational preparations, Spirit Airlines has introduced a holiday-themed aircraft livery for the first time in its history. The aircraft registered as N628NK will operate throughout the winter season featuring a limited-time design.

The airline will also serve as the official airline sponsor of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert series in Miami, Chicago, and Detroit. Through this sponsorship, Spirit Airlines aims to strengthen its corporate engagement with the communities it serves across key markets.
