Air Europa Signs MoU for Up to 40 Airbus A350-900s 🇪🇦✍🏼🛫

Spanish carrier Air Europa has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus for up to 40 A350-900s as part of its fleet renewal plans. Announced at the Dubai Airshow, the deal aims to modernize the airline’s long-haul fleet—currently dominated by Boeing 787s—and strengthen its competitiveness, particularly on Latin American routes.

With the addition of the A350s, Air Europa will gain significant advantages, including lower fuel consumption, reduced operating costs, and decreased CO₂ emissions. The wide cabin design will also enhance passenger comfort.

Air Europa President Juan Jose Hidalgo described the A350 as a “game changer” for Latin American routes, emphasizing that it will provide major benefits in both cabin experience and operational efficiency.
