Transavia France Launches Daily Paris–Istanbul Flights at Sabiha Gökçen Airport

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (ISG) has welcomed a new airline partner as part of its strategy to expand European connections and diversify its route network. Transavia France, the low-cost carrier of the Air France–KLM Group, has officially launched daily flights between Paris and Istanbul. The inaugural flight from Paris was greeted with a water cannon salute upon arrival.

With continuously rising international traffic, Sabiha Gökçen Airport remains among Europe’s fastest-growing airports, further strengthening its European reach through this strategic addition.

The scheduled service, which began on October 26, 2025, operates daily round-trip flights between Paris Orly (ORY) and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW).

The new route aims to enhance tourism and trade ties between France and Türkiye, while also providing a more convenient travel option for passengers. It is expected to attract strong demand from the large Turkish community living in and around Paris, supporting year-round passenger traffic driven by VFR (Visiting Friends & Relatives) travel.
