Airbus Delivers 507 Aircraft in Nine Months, Maintains 2025 Targets

European aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered 507 commercial aircraft to customers during the first nine months of 2025, reporting €47.4 billion in revenue and €2.64 billion in net profit for the period. CEO Guillaume Faury highlighted strong performance across the company’s Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters, and Defence & Space divisions.

By the end of September, the commercial aircraft backlog had reached 8,665 units, with 610 gross orders and 514 net orders recorded. In the Helicopters segment, net orders remained stable at 306 units, while the Defence & Space division reported €6.8 billion in new orders. The company reaffirmed its goal of delivering around 820 aircraft by the end of 2025.

Airbus also outlined its updated production ramp-up plans, targeting a monthly rate of 75 aircraft for the A320 family by 2027. The A220 program is expected to reach 12 aircraft per month by 2026, while A330 and A350 production levels are projected to rise to their planned rates by 2029 and 2028, respectively.
