Delta Air Lines Captain Keith Rosenkranz celebrated his retirement with a special flight. He rented an Airbus A330 and took 112 friends and family members from Dallas-Fort Worth to Hawaii’s Kona, with a stopover in Los Angeles. Ceremonies were held in both Los Angeles and Kona in honor of the captain.
Captain Rosenkranz said he spent about a year’s salary on this event, describing the trip as a farewell to his career.
It is reported that Delta captains earn around $350,000–$450,000 annually.
