Boeing and Rolls-Royce Hold Talks on New Aircraft

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Boeing has held a confidential meeting with Rolls-Royce regarding its new aircraft project, which is expected to replace the 737 MAX family. The discussions focused on potential new engine options to power the planned aircraft.

Sources indicated that the project is still in its early stages but noted that Boeing has already begun working on a new cockpit design. Rolls-Royce’s involvement is seen as critical in strengthening competition with Airbus in the long-range single-aisle aircraft market.

While Boeing has not confirmed the claims, the company stated that preparations for developing new products are ongoing in line with market needs.
