Alcohol Pledge for JAL Pilots

Following several recent alcohol-related incidents involving pilots, Japan Airlines (JAL) has introduced a new measure. In order to ensure the safety of operations, the company has decided to require written pledges from its pilots.

In the electronic form sent to pilots, they are asked to confirm the statement: “I will not consume alcohol before flights and will not cause any incidents.”
