👉🏻Qantas has extended its direct flights from Brisbane to Koror, the capital of Palau, until the end of 2026 due to growing interest from Australian travelers. The route, launched in December 2024 under the name “Palau Paradise Express,” has seen strong demand, particularly in the first half of 2025.
👉🏻According to the airline, visits from Australia to Palau increased by 113% in the first half of 2025 compared to the previous year. In March alone, arrivals surged by 146%, while more than 5,000 passengers used the service in the past nine months.
👉🏻Qantas announced that the route will continue to operate once a week, departing from Brisbane on Saturdays and served by Boeing 737 aircraft.
