First Direct Flight Between Moscow and Pyongyang in 77 Years
- The first direct flight in 77 years from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport to Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, has been successfully operated. The historic journey was carried out by Nordwind Airlines using a Boeing 777-200 aircraft. The flight duration was approximately 8 hours.
- The route is expected to operate on a monthly basis for now, with the possibility of increasing frequency depending on demand.
