Black Box Recovered From Air India Crash

India’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, announced during his first press briefing following Thursday’s Air India crash in Ahmedabad that the aircraft’s black box has been recovered and decoding efforts are underway. The minister stated that multiple agencies are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.

“As a Ministry, we are treating this matter with the utmost seriousness. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) acted promptly. The technical inspection team located the black box at the crash site around 5:00 PM yesterday. The data analysis will provide in-depth insights into the moments leading up to the crash,” Naidu said.
