✈️ Airbus’ specially developed Beluga aircraft, designed for transporting aircraft components, arrived this evening at the TUSAŞ facilities in Ankara. The Beluga will carry products manufactured here to Airbus final assembly lines.
✈️ So, what does TUSAŞ produce for Europe’s aviation giant?
👉🏼 TUSAŞ manufactures the Section 18 and Section 19 fuselage panels for the Airbus A320 family. These panels are located between the pressurized and unpressurized sections of the aircraft fuselage and play a critical role in maintaining structural integrity.
👉🏼 The company also designs and produces the ailerons, which control the aircraft’s roll movements, for the Airbus A350XWB program. For the A350F freighter, TUSAŞ produces the barrier wall that separates the cargo area from the passenger area.
👉🏼 For the Airbus A330, TUSAŞ manufactures the rudder. As of 2023, TUSAŞ also became the sole supplier of the center lower fuselage panels for the Airbus A220 series. Additionally, TUSAŞ produces various structural components and handles system integration projects for the A400M military transport aircraft.
