
Japan Airlines has signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase 17 additional 737-8 MAX aircraft as part of its fleet modernization plans. With this new order, JAL’s total firm orders for the 737 MAX now stand at 38.
The airline currently operates a fleet that includes 767s, 777s, 737-800s, and more than 50 787 Dreamliners. To meet growing international travel demand, the company has also placed an order for 10 additional 787-9 aircraft.
