Turkish Airlines Resumes Flights to Damascus, the Capital of Syria

Turkish Airlines, has resumed its flights to Damascus, which were suspended in April 2012.

Starting from January 23, 2025, Turkish Airlines will operate flights to Damascus three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Commenting on the resumption of flights, Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi stated: “We are excited to resume our flights to Damascus as Turkish Airlines. We believe that these flights to Damascus, with which we share historical and cultural ties, will contribute positively to the country’s tourism and trade potential. Within the framework of evolving market conditions, we will strive to further diversify the gateways connecting the Middle East to the world.”
