Emirates SkyCargo has launched AI Tech, a new air cargo service designed to transport critical equipment used in the development and expansion of artificial intelligence technologies. Developed specifically for AI server racks, semiconductors, graphics processing units (GPUs), and other high-value technology equipment, the service aims to ensure the safe and timely delivery of sensitive cargo.

The new service offers customers priority loading, specialized handling by expert teams, and advanced shipment tracking solutions. Through proactive monitoring managed by Emirates SkyCargo’s operations control center in Dubai, the airline aims to ensure that technology equipment is transported and delivered according to scheduled timelines.

Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo, emphasized that every major advancement in artificial intelligence relies on robust physical infrastructure, noting that global demand for transporting such equipment continues to grow rapidly.

Abbas revealed that the company transported more than 700 tonnes of AI infrastructure equipment across its global network in July alone. With the launch of AI Tech, Emirates SkyCargo aims to become the preferred air cargo carrier for companies operating within the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence industry.
