“Pilot Picasso” Recreates Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” in Flight Route Art

An American pilot, who previously drew attention by tracing his own aircraft, a world map, a ghost figure, and the Mona Lisa with his flight path, has completed another radar-tracked aviation artwork. Known in the aviation community as “Pilot Picasso,” the pilot recreated Edvard Munch’s world-renowned painting “The Scream” across the sky.
Flying a single-engine Cessna Skylane RG registered N1810R, the pilot conducted precise maneuvers lasting several hours in US airspace. Flight tracking data from Flightradar24 showed the iconic figure and the painting’s distinctive background lines mapped with notable precision.
The flight lasted over five hours and 40 minutes.
