Delta Postpones Riyadh Flights Until March 2027

Delta Air Lines has postponed the launch of its planned nonstop flights between Atlanta and Riyadh. Originally scheduled to begin on October 23, 2026, the service is now expected to launch on March 27, 2027. The postponement was reportedly prompted by security risks arising from the ongoing war in the region and attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The route, which will mark Delta’s first passenger service to Saudi Arabia, is planned to operate three times a week using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Singapore Airlines is also expected to launch its Singapore–Riyadh service on March 28, 2027.
