United Airlines Removes Ibrahim Mossallam from Flight Duty Again

United Airlines has once again removed pilot Ibrahim R. Mossallam from active flight duty. Mossallam had previously been suspended over a social media post he made following the developments in Israel on October 7, 2023, before later returning to flight duty.

United said Mossallam is currently under review and will remain off flight duty while the review is ongoing. Mossallam was temporarily suspended in 2023 after describing Hamas’s actions as “the resistance of a brave people” in a social media post, but later returned to flying.

At this stage, there is no confirmed information indicating that Mossallam’s employment has been terminated.
