Search Suspended for Missing Air Ambulance

The search for an IAI 1125 Astra air ambulance, registered C-GRJP and operated by Canada-based Latitude Air Ambulance, has been suspended. Flight HTT104 disappeared off the coast of Nantucket while flying from Bermuda to Boston. Six people were on board: two pilots, two medical personnel, a patient and the patient’s relative.
The U.S. Coast Guard Northeast said Coast Guard crews and other agencies conducted continuous search operations for 66 hours after contact with the aircraft was lost. After no trace of the aircraft or those on board was found, the search was suspended at sunset.
The U.S. Coast Guard expressed its condolences to the families and loved ones of those on board. Global Affairs Canada had previously confirmed that Canadian citizens were among the occupants and said consular officials were in contact with the relevant authorities.
