A Delta Air Lines flight operating #DL195 from Barcelona to Atlanta returned to Barcelona El Prat Airport following an engine issue shortly after departure. The flight was operated by an Airbus A330 registered N813NW.
Flames were seen coming from the left engine area as the aircraft was climbing after takeoff from Barcelona Airport. The flight crew subsequently decided to return to Barcelona.
The Delta Air Lines aircraft landed safely approximately half an hour after departure. No injuries were reported, and the aircraft taxied to the gate for technical inspections.
