Iran Warns U.S. and Regional Countries
Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the joint military command centre of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has issued a statement addressing the United States and countries in the region. The statement alleged that the U.S., with support from some regional countries, was preparing to take renewed action against Iran.
The headquarters said that if the United States takes any military action against Iran, U.S. bases and interests in the region would be targeted. It stated that any such response would be “continuous, effective and severe.”
Iran also warned regional countries against supporting any potential U.S. operation. The statement said that countries participating in an attack against Iran would be considered parties to the conflict and could face a response from the Iranian Armed Forces.
